RIP blue Motorola SLVR

Craig made me dinner, and I got to spend the evening with Rikki. Everything would have been perfect if it hadn't been for one incident: my phone got stolen.
I have no idea how this happened. My phone was in the pocket inside my bag, as it always is, and it was definitely still in there when the bag was on the table (I remember texting Jula and checking the time). All I know is that it had disappeared by the time I next looked. Rikki tried phoning it but only reached the answerphone, so whoever took it probably discarded the SIM card immediately.
Nothing else was missing from my handbag except an empty train ticket wallet which had been in the same pocket as my phone.

Needless to say, this is extremely annoying. My parents are going to use this as an excuse to lay into me for not being careful or taking care of my belongings, even though this is the first important thing I've ever lost. I'll have to get my mother to ring Orange to cancel the contract, as I'm too lazy to do it myself.
At least I can use this as an excuse to switch phone providers and find another, cheaper, contract. However, this means spending time inside phone shops, and who enjoys doing that? Thankfully, Rikki is providing me with a spare phone and SIM card until then. I'm lucky to have him, and not just for that reason either!
The weird thing is that earlier on in the night, I'd mislaid my handbag, only to find it sitting in a plant pot outside. I definitely did not leave it there, but it's lucky I found it.

I'll miss my old phone. We had some good times together. I would post a photo of it, but sadly I can't find one.
